Safety is built into every trip we make, in line with client and Saudi Aramco requirements. Here is what a prequalification review will find.

HS-01

Tracked, point to point

Every vehicle has GPS tracking, so clients can follow their loads point to point. Every truck reports driver performance in RAG format.

We work to Aramco's standards for safety, compliance and documentation, and are approved to move materials for Aramco facilities and projects.

Certified safety leadership

All our executives hold professional health and safety certifications and lead safety on site, in the office and at work.

Trained, rested drivers

Full PPE is mandatory, every driver is trained in defensive driving, and a strict working-hours policy prevents fatigue.

HS-DR

Seven checks on every driver.

No one drives for Star Asiya without passing all seven, and the checks continue after they start.

  1. Health check-up

    A medical examination before joining and at regular intervals, so every driver is fit for heavy-vehicle work.

  2. Fit-to-drive certification

    Every driver holds a valid fit-to-drive certificate before taking the wheel.

  3. Defensive driving training

    Trained to anticipate hazards, keep safe distances and handle heavy loads in traffic and on site.

  4. Toolbox talks

    Regular toolbox talks on the day's hazards, site rules and lessons learned from near misses.

  5. Alcohol testing

    Drivers are tested for alcohol as part of our safety checks. Zero tolerance.

  6. 5+ years in the GCC

    Every driver has at least five years of heavy-vehicle driving experience in the GCC.

  7. RAG reports and fatigue control

    Real-time Red, Amber, Green reports on driving performance and safety, with working hours monitored so no one drives tired.
